News: Carbondale backs Wexner's land swap - again


Tuesday night Carbondale Town Trustees reaffirmed their support of the proposed "Sutey-Two Shoes" land swap. The public-private deal has been dragging on for over a year and pits retail millionaire Leslie Wexner against the only group yet to endorce the deal, Pitkin County. KDNK's Conrad Wilson brings this report.

Trustees to hear Wexner's new proposal

It's been over a year since the "Sutey-Two Shoes" land swap was first proposed. On Tuesday, Carbondale Town Trustees will decide whether or not to reaffirm their support of the public-private deal. And as KDNK's Conrad Wilson reports, Carbondale and the surrounding community stand to be the most affected no matter the outcome.
