Darrell stops by on the first day of Spring to regale KDNK's David Batterson with some music and some talk. He explained his new CD, his personal roots in Kentucky and his approach to songwriting. He played an old song, "East Gary." He also played three songs from his new CD "Long Ride Home:" "Someday," "No Use for Living Today," and Hopkinsville." This thoughtful and articulate songwriter is at the top of his game, and deserves the opening slot at the 7908 Songwriting Festival at the Wheeler Opera House starting today and running through Sunday, March 25th.
