Swedish documentary filmmaker Fredrick Gertten rose to prominence when the Dole banana company launched a multimillion dollar campaign to suppress the release of a film he made that was critical of the company's work in Central America. KDNK's Ed Williams spoke to Gertten about the film, which shows at the Aspen Film Festival this week.
Filmmakers are descending on the Valley -- tomorrow marks the start of the 32nd Annual Aspen Filmfest. The festival has events and screenings in Carbondale and Aspen until Sunday afternoon.
