Here’s your community calendar for Thursday, December 21st underwritten by Sopris Liquor and Wine in Carbondale, with beer tastings every Thursday, 4 to 6pm.   • Registration for spring classes at Colorado Mountain College is now underway and  available daily through January 12th.  

  • ACES is offering Winter Explorers day camp for kids ages 6 to 12 at Hallam Lake in Aspen over the school break. Winter Explorers will run each weekday, starting today through the 29th and January 2nd and  3rd, from 9:30AM to  3:30PM

  • Aspen Film Academy Screening shows Lady Bird at 2, Strong Island at 5, and Wind River at 8.

  • Anderson Ranch Arts Center offers building holiday gingerbread houses at the Stonebridge Inn Snowmass Village at 3:30

  • The Polar Express shows at the Silt Library at 5.

  • Best Kept Secret B and B offers Solstice Tai Chi on the Labyrinth at 6.

  • Glenwood Vaudeville Revue presents their Holiday show at 6.

  • Ski Sunlight presents Winter Stoke Film Festival at 6 at the Ute Theater Rifle.

  • Jazz Aspen Snowmass present Niki Harris and James Horowitz Trio at 7 at the Cooking School of Aspen.

  • National Geographic’s From the Ashes shows at the New Castle Library at 7.

  • The Riviera Supper Club and Piano Bar offers live holiday music at 7:30

  • Lady Bird shows at the Crystal at 7:30.

  • And Sublime Tribute Band, 40 Ounces to Freedom plays the Belly Up at 9:30.

Looking ahead…

  • The lab at Pitkin Library offers holiday crafting at 9 tomorrow morning as  well as a present wrapping party at 10.

  • AND Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers instructs Dare to Explore a hands-on class with games, crafts, and gear demonstrations focusing on fun survival skills and Leave No Trace principles at the New Castle Library tomorrow at 1:00.
