School Cop Sues Immigrant Rights Group
A lawyer representing a Carbondale police officer has filed a lawsuit against a local immigrant rights group for statements made in a press release last month. KDNK’s Ed Williams reports.
Email and official lawsuit sent by Officer Agon's lawyer
Attached is a lawsuit I filed on behalf of Officer Alvaro Agon. The defendants are CIRC and Brendan Greene. They have defamed the reputation of an honorable officer, and they will be held accountable. On a personal note, I am deeply offended and outraged that an organization that represents illegals, is telling us how to run our police department and our schools. On its face it's ridiculous. We are fortunate to have men such as Chief Schilling and Sherriff Vallario, who reject the concept of illegals with kids getting a free pass, and arrest those who sell drugs, molest their children, and abuse their spouses. I applaud our police departments for not permitting CIRC to allow these criminals to hide behind their kids, being a parent is not a defense to breaking the law.
