CDale Trustees Enact Fire Ban

Carbondale trustees enacted a new fire ban at this week's meeting, adding Carbondale to the growing list of counties, municipalities, parks and forests to do so. But with the Fourth of July approaching, a ban that prohibits fireworks and charcoal grills is a tough sell. KDNK's Eric Skalac spoke with Carbondale Police Chief Gene Schilling after the meeting to find out how he's planning to address that unique challenge.
