Tuesday is the final chance for voters to cast a ballot in what could be a seismic election in Glenwood Springs. On that ballot? Whether or not to overturn City Council’s decision to annex 480 Donegan in West Glenwood. R2 Partners has approval to build hundreds of residential units on the property. A fifth of them would be dedicated to affordable housing. The Diemoz Family, who own the property, say they’ll build an industrial park already approved by Garfield County if the annexation is overturned. An initiative to change the city’s charter to put all significant airport changes to voters is also on the ballot. KDNK will have election results as they become available.
