Updated:
On Saturday morning, the body of a 20-year-old Carbondale man was discovered at the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. The man was heavily armed with firearms, a rifle and a handgun, as well as real and fake explosive devices. The man arrived at the park in a vehicle after hours, and his body was found in a ladies restroom on the property. He is presumed to have committed suicide with the handgun, although an autopsy is ongoing and the coroner has not yet released his name or personal details. At this time, it is believed that there is no threat to people at the park or in the wider community of Glenwood Springs.

KDNK News will follow up with a more thorough update on this case later tonight on our website, as well as in tomorrow’s morning newscast.
