Updates on missing El Jebel man: Henry David Twitchell

In a somber press release put out late last night, Eagle County Sheriffs announced that on Friday, January 12th the body of El Jebel resident Henry David Twitchell was found. Searchers canvassed going North and South along Highway 13 near mile marker 30, made more difficult due to deep snow in which probe poles needed to be used.

After utilizing Rio Blanco County Search and Rescue teams and the abilities of a search and rescue dog, authorities located Twitchell’s deceased body QUOTE in the bottom of a deep ravine. The investigation into Twitchell’s death is ongoing, although the autopsy has been completed. It has been found that no physical injuries contributed to his death, but the Rio Blanco County Coroner is waiting on the toxicology (which could take 1-4 weeks) before making their final decision. KDNK will continue to follow up on this story as-needed.
