An Apple Tree resident shows what the community's discolored water supply does to her washing machine on Thursday.

Reporter Hattison Rensberry brings listeners Monday’s news, including: an update on the water situation in New Castle's Apple Tree community, and housing stock growth in our region. Plus, Governor Polis signs a bill limiting the sale of certain insecticides, and the mass closing of facility schools takes away even more care options in rural Colorado.

Hattison Rensberry grew up in Rifle, CO and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and Drawing at the University of Northern Colorado. She comes to KDNK as reporter and host after working on the design-side of news for the past three years. Hattie does theater locally, photography, needlecrafts, and also provides Editorial Design for the Sopris Sun. Tea>Coffee
