Apr 4, 2019

Roaring Fork Valley residents are in Washington DC this week, talking up the Colorado Outdoor Recreation Economy Act, which faced its first congressional hearing on Tuesday.

Former Carbondale mayor Stacey Bernot, rancher Bill Fales, Mike Pritchard of the Roaring Fork Mountain Bike Association and the Thompson Divide Coalition, and current Carbondale mayor Dan Richardson sat in on a CORE Act hearing and talked to elected officials, urging them to support the bill. KDNK's Amy Hadden Marsh has more.
