The Crystal Valley Environmental Protection Association, founded in 1972, sports the legacy of stopping a ski resort from being developed in Marble and more recently ending the West Divide Project, two dams holding conditional water rights that would have flooded Redstone and other parts of the valley. KDNK's Raleigh Burleigh spoke with John Armstrong, the organization’s president, about current issues of interest and upcoming opportunities for involvement. CVEPA's annual meeting, open to the public, is on August 24th at Propaganda Pies in Redstone at 5pm.
