GWS Water Use Restricted After Water Main Bursts

A water line near Glenwood Springs water treatment plant on Red Mountain ruptured Wednesday morning. Glenwood Springs residents are asked to stop non-essential water use until further notice. KDNK's Amy Hadden Marsh has this report.

Update June 25, 2020 6:21 PM   The pipeline has been repaired. According to city officials, water restrictions were lifted at 5 PM.

City employees work to repair a water main break on Red Mountain Drive on Wednesday morning after a water main broke. The City of Glenwood Springs told residents to stop all "non-essential" water usage for at least 24 hours.
