Anna Macleod is a visual artist and independent researcher based in Ireland. She does textiles, writing and social actions. Her work mediates complex ideas associated with readings of place. She employs quasi-scientific methods, interdisciplinary collaboration, performance and socially engaged activism to critique contemporary landscapes and to build metaphoric spaces for re-imaging the future. She's involved with the Inspired: Art at Work symposium in Paonia August 24-26th.
John Melvin is an international artist focused on the intersection of ecology and society. He sculpts using up-cycled materials and has produced site specific installations all over the world, including a permanent installation in Utica New York called EntroTree and a new piece coming to Dorado Beach in Puerto Rico later this year called ManMtn.
