  • Lee Mulcahy Studio & Gallery in Aspen hosts the art exhibition: Voices of Revolution.

  • For the month of October, the Village Smithy, Bonfire Cafe and Confluence Cafe in Basalt are showing the work of local artists Kathy Honea, Sheri Gaynor, Ruth Mollman, Susan Obermeyer-Strauss, and Summers Moore. A portion of art sales goes to Windwalkers.

  • The Launchpad offers Beyond the Street Sew Class from 3:30 to 5:30.

  • Minecrafters gather at Glenwood Springs Library at 4.

  • Aspen City Council meets at 5.

  • Basalt Regional Library trustees meet at 5:15.

Looking ahead…

  • Tomorrow from 6 - 8 PM, the Town of Carbondale hosts a joint meeting with the Pitkin County Commissioners and Open Space and Trails at the Third Street Center about the proposed Crystal Valley Trail. There will be an opportunity for public comment during the meeting.

  • Advocate Safehouse Project hosts a candlelight vigil to honor Domestic Violence Awareness Month, tomorrow at Metro Park in Rifle at 6.

  • Senator Michael Bennet invites residents of northwest Colorado and the Western Slope to meet his new local constituent advocate and senior staff members in his Grand Junction office tomorrow from 3 to 6.
