A Colorado-based Facebook group titled “Go Outside and Howl at 8pm” now has over 500 thousand members, and it’s just one of many similar groups. Coloradans all over the state have taken to the new quarantine activity.

Online howling groups now see thousands of member posts each day, from sharing the latest howling memes and “after the howl” snack suggestions, to asking others for emotional support. The howling is set to continue. Step outside around 8 pm, and you might hear some in your neighborhood.
