Dandelion Day returns to Carbondale today! Sopris Park is overflowing with fun and sustainable activities, food, craft vendors, educational presentations and live music from 10:30 to 5. KDNK has the drinks covered, with selections from Roaring Fork Beer Company, Paonia’s Black Bridge Winery, and a dandelion-infused vodka from Marble Distilling, and all proceeds help to support KDNK.
Glenwood Center for the Arts presents the 25th Annual Dancers Dancing Showcase at Glenwood Springs High School with shows at 1pm and at 7pm.
There is a community bread bake at the Carbondale Community Oven outside the 3rd Street Center at 1. All are welcome, jam, dough, and drink contributions are appreciated.
Thunder River Theatre Company presents Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse today and tomorrow at 1 and 4.
Aspen Blackbox Theater showcases Pop! A Spring Cabaret performed by local teens at 2 and at 7.

On Sunday, there will be an interfaith vigil in Sayre Park in Glenwood Springs at 3pm in recognition that many people are unable to be with their families this Mother’s Day due to the politics of immigration.
