The deadline for area high school students to apply for 5Point's scholarship program "Dream Project" is Tuesday, March 19. Full details here. 5Point executive director Regna Jones, Dream Project coordinator Tracy Wilson, and previous scholarship recipient Chloe Gonzales joined Ape on the Dink to discuss the opportunity on The Wild Rumpus.

5Point Film Festival celebrates an adventure sports lifestyle. Sometimes these pursuits come with heavy consequences. Bobby Le'Roo, founder and director of Big Heart Big Hands, leads a panel on Saturday about backcountry safety and trauma. The panel is at the True Nature Healing Arts Kiva from 10:20am to noon and is open to the public.

At tonight’s 5Point Film Festival screening, seven high school students will each be awarded a $1500 scholarship towards pursuing a personal dream. Dream project director Tracy Wilson explains the program. Scholarship recipient William Lucket comments on his plans to attend NYU's Tisch School of Arts camp this summer.
