Jordan Cove, Pacific Connector Pipeline Project Stalled

Feb 25, 2019

The Jordan Cove/Pacific Connector Pipeline Project, which would ship natural gas from Colorado and Canada to a liquifaction plant in Coos Bay, Oregon, has been mired in the permit process for more than a decade. It was dealt another blow recently by a Circuit Court Judge. Amy Hadden Marsh has an update.

Oregon activist Alex Budd was on the West Slope in mid-September as part of a tour that he and North Fork Valley organizer Pete Kolbenschalg put together to connect western Colorado and southern Oregon communities. These communities are on both ends of the proposed Jordan Cove Liquid Natural Gas pland in Coos Bay, OR and the Pacific Connector pippeline. Alex talks about the project, the impacts, and why he wants CO and OR residents to unite.
