Executive Director of Colorado Animal Rescue Wes Boyd and AZYEP announce a new collaboration. Each week youth DJs will read about adoptable animals available at C.A.R.E.  Listen during AZYEP on Sunday at 2:30 PM, Monday at 3:45 PM and Thursday at 7:30 PM.

A variety of local businesses and individuals are offering support for evacuated animals. Thanks to KDNK member Patty Lecht for helping compile this info. Click through to see locations and phone numbers.

Wes Boyd

Colorado Animal Rescue or CARE has taken in and adopted out close to 15,000 animals since it opened in 1992. Eighteen years ago, it moved to its Spring Valley location and continues to provide homes for cats, dogs, and the occasional exotic pet. KDNK’s Amy Hadden Marsh stopped by for a visit this week and spoke to the director Wes Boyd.
