Francisco Nevarez Burgueño dirige el programa de baile folklórico para Aspen Santa Fe Ballet. Cada año, su grupo guía una procesión desde el Third Street Center al Teatro de Thunder River para Día de los Muertos. Este año se transcurre el 1 de noviembre a las 6:15. Antes, habrán una fiesta y exhibición de altares en el Third Street Center Después, y luego bailan a las 7:30 y 8:30 en el Teatro Thunder River.

Mauricio Lopez-Marquez and Francisco Nevarez Burguño of Aspen Santa Fe Ballet are joined by two dance students, Jose Monge and Solana Teitler, on Express Yourself with Megan Tackett and Raleigh Burleigh to share their love of Día de los Muertos and folklórico dance.

From Here to Eternity

With two published books, including this new one, From Here to Eternity: Traveling the World to Find the Good Death, and with hundreds of thousands of views on her You Tube channel Ask a Mortician, Caitlin Doughty is the Doyenne of Death. Here she talks about some  interesting funeral practices around the world on Express Yourself.



Tonight, Carbondale hosts a 13th annual Day of the Dead Celebration. The celebration begins at the Third Street Center at 5pm with hot chocolate and tamales. The procession to The Thunder River Theatre starts at 6 for performances at 7 and 7:45. Meanwhile, El Colectivo presents a puppet show at The Launchpad at 7 and 7:45. Altars will be on display at The Third Street Center through November 7th.
