At a rally in Glenwood Springs, organized by Stay Free Colorado, a First Amendment group that also advocates against wearing masks during the pandemic, Garfield County Commissioner Tom Jankovsky took the stage, denouncing Governor Jared Polis and stating that the U.S. is in a cold war with China. Garfield County Commissioners Monday approved a $250,000 supplemental for the 2021 budget. The money is designated for projected legal costs the county expects to incur related to Rocky Mountain Industrial’s proposed limestone quarry expansion near Glenwood Springs. KDNK’s Lucas Turner has more.
