Meet Greg Peterson, a sustainability innovator who created the Urban Farm on his 12,000 sq ft property in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona. His entirely regenerative and edible landscape produces a steady flow of fruit and vegetables year-round, and allows him to teach others about urban farming through his platform at urbanfarm.org. Greg talks about the spiritual orientation and choices that guide and nurture his work in the world.

Katrina Byars

Katrina Byars is a former Carbondale Town Trustee and current democratic candidate for Garfield County’s Board of County Commissioners. She has a Masters of Legal Studies in natural resources and environmental law and is a long-time advocate for healthy communities and healthy public lands. She shares her practices and mindset for maintaining strong leadership amidst the political and social challenges of these times.

Carbondale resident Illène Pevec, PhD, author of “Growing a Life", initiated her first award-winning school gardening program in 1998 at an elementary school in Vancouver, Canada. Since then, she has gained national and international recognition for her work.
