Raleigh Burleigh interviewed organizer Aaron Watson among the sounds of Paonia's North Fork Community Fair and Solutions Expo. American Legislative Exchange Council

Documented Investigations has revealed that 15 Colorado legislators, including Senator Randy Baumgardner and Representative Bob Rankin, are members of the American Legislative Exchange Council. ALEC is a nonprofit organization of state legislators and private sector representatives who draft and share state-level legislation. Nonpartisan watchdog group Colorado Common Cause wants constituents to urge their elected officials to leave ALEC. KDNK’s Raleigh Burleigh spoke with advocacy and media manager Caroline Fry to find out why.

KDNK's News Team was up early and in Glenwood Springs today to cover the opening day of the Grand Avenue Bridge closure.  Amy Hadden Marsh reported live from the Glenwood Springs Mall at 6:41 AM with Tom Newland, Grand Avenue Bridge Project manager and Bridge Answer Man, and GWS City Council member Kathryn Trauger.

At 7:41 AM, News Director Raleigh Burleigh reported from the corner of 8th Street and Colorado Avenue with Tom Newland.

At 5:34 PM, both Raleigh Burleigh and Amy Hadden Marsh spoke with Tracy Trulove, Communication Manager for CDOT, from the studio for an update about the afternoon traffic flow and to recap the day.
