LIFT-UP's Farm to Food Pantry Program is expanding at a time of increased food insecurity and desire for resiliency in the Roaring Fork Valley. KDNK's Raleigh Burleigh has this report.

Katrina Byars is a former Carbondale Town Trustee and current democratic candidate for Garfield County’s Board of County Commissioners. She has a Masters of Legal Studies in natural resources and environmental law and is a long-time advocate for healthy communities and healthy public lands. She shares her practices and mindset for maintaining strong leadership amidst the political and social challenges of these times.

Casey Piscura is owner of Wild Mountain Seeds, based from Sunfire Ranch just south of Carbondale. He created the nonprofit Seed Peace to promote community-driven seed production and local growing initiatives for resiliency and health. In this interview, he shares his vision and an update from his farm in response to the unfolding coronacrisis.
