Hair salons are now back in business under Colorado’s “Safer at Home” phase. Fiore Salon in Carbondale was closed for six weeks before reopening on May 4th and resuming operations at 50% capacity. KDNK’s Kathleen Shannon spoke with co-owner Lauren Duncan about recent business.

As Colorado moves into the “Safer at Home” phase, businesses and offices are tiptoeing into unknown territory. Colorado is no longer under a statewide stay at home order, but Governor Jared Polis is warning residents he might have to bring back restrictions if they are not careful and coronavirus cases spike again.


Governor Jared Polis addressed the state this afternoon to provide critical updates on the stay-at-home order. He started with some good news, announcing that Eagle County will be the first in the state to “reopen.”
