Members of Carbondale’s Two Rivers Unitarian Universalist Church traveled to Denver Monday in support of The People’s Resolution, which seeks to improve state and federal immigration policy.

During Congressman Scott Tipton’s Mobile Office Hours in Glenwood Springs on Wednesday, December 6, Reverend Shawna Foster introduced the case of Sandra Lopez, a local immigrant that has taken sanctuary with Two Rivers Unitarian Church in Carbondale, to Brian Meinhart, Regional Director and Policy Advisor for the Congressman.
