Here’s your community calendar for Tuesday, May 7th, underwritten by Basalt Regional Library, where you can now reserve a study room up to two weeks in advance. There are 5 reservable rooms, with capacities ranging from 4-6 people. Learn more at basalt library dot org slash study dash rooms.

  • The Parkinson Association of the Rockies offers a support group at 1pm- at the Orchard Church. 
  • Lift Up distributes food and pantry items at the Pitkin County Human Services building at 2pm - and at the Parachute Lift Up warehouse at 4pm.
  • Basalt Middle School offers Self Defense for Teens at 2:30pm. 
  • Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers hosts a Community Project at the Linwood Cemetery Doc Holliday Trail - at 4pm. 
  • Pitkin Library hosts the Read The Rainbow Teen Book Club at 5:30pm. 
  • Headquarters offers The Big Five - An Interactive Learning Workshop at 6pm.
  • The Ute Theatre Rifle presents the State of the River at 6pm. 
  • Carbondale Town Council meets at Town Hall at 6pm. 
  • Glenwood Library presents Music of the West African Kora at 6pm. 
  • Conversational French class takes place at the Third Street Center at 6pm.

  • Glenwood CMC Campus at Morgridge Commons presents the Spring Summit from 8am to 5pm. 
  • Red Brick Center for the Arts offers Pre-K Art Studio at 11am.
