KDNK's Community Calendar is underwritten by the Mount Sopris Rotary Club, meeting every Thursday at noon at Mi Casita in Carbondale. Rotary: Service Above Self. Click on the headline for events such as SOL Theatre's GODSPELL, tonight at 7 at the Third Street Center.

  • A No-Till Drill Tour, sponsored by Bookcliff, Mount Sopris, and South Side Conservation Districts, leaves from the Silt Fire Station at 1 PM.

  • Basalt Library offers a citizenship test prep at 4:30.

  • The Red Brick Center’s exhibition of Black & White opens at 5.

  • The Glenwood Springs City Council meets at 6 at City Hall.

  • The Garfield County Energy Advisory Boards meets at the Garfield County Rifle Administration Building at 6.

  • SOL Theatre presents GODSPELL at the Third Street Center at 7.

  • The Cowboy Corral sings at the Third Street Center at 7.

  • Glenwood Vaudeville Revue presents stand-up comedy with Chris Garcia at 7.

  • The Zookeeper's Wife plays at the Crystal at 7:30.

  • Brent Cowles plays the Belly Up Aspen at 9.

Looking ahead…

  • Carbondale celebrates Cinco de Mayo Friday with Festival Las Americas and a family block party on Main Street.

  • Roaring Fork Brewery throws one last party at the Dolores Way location with music by Lookout Mountain Showdown on Friday beginning at 2.

  • On Saturday morning, the Roaring Fork Conservancy will work on Carbondale boat ramp improvements beginning at 8:30. Volunteer registration is here.  

  • Dandelion Day is back on Saturday May 13, with live music and all sorts of sustainable fun. KDNK will operate the beer tent with selections from Marble Distilling, Roaring Fork Beer Company and Black Bridge Winery in Paonia.
