  • The ARE Day Summit Impact Film series begins at noon. It’s free and open to the public. The list of films is available here.

  • The Rifle Farmers Market begins at 4.

  • The Logan Brothers play the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park at 5.

  • Lift Up hosts a balloon festival benefit with music by Painting the Wind in Triangle Park at the Willits Town Center from 6 to 8:30.

  • John Batiste & Stay Human play the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Festival at 6 followed by Michael McDonald at 8:30.

  • Chris Bank & Mark Johnson play Heather’s at 7.

  • Wonder Woman opens at the Crystal at 7:30.

  • Thunder River Theatre Company presents The Memory of Water at 7:30.

  • John Noel and Jeff Sauer play Grove’s Black Dog Saloon in New Castle at 7:30.

  • The Brian Grace Band plays Leadville’s Pastime Bar at 9.

  • Well Beings play the Scarlet Tavern in Leadville at 9.

  • Twang Box plays the Black Nugget around 9.

  • And Gary Clark Jr. performs at the Belly Up Aspen at 9.

Looking ahead…

  • The Aspen community is invited to a place-making workshop regarding the Aspen Pedestrian Mall  - Saturday from 10 to 1. To rsvp call 618-1457.

  • Sustainability Settings offers a class on culturing dairy, Saturday from 1 to 4. To register call 963-6107.

  • And Wilderness Workshop needs help removing barbed wire near the Seven Star Trail in Snowmass on Sunday from 8:30 to 4pm. Registration is at wildernessworkshop.org.
