KDNK's Hattison Rensberry has the news, including Rifle Police shooting a man during an alleged domestic disturbance. Also, Colorado is suing pesticide companies for harming farmers with price fixing antics. Tribes held a day of commemoration known as Orange Shirt Day—it remembers children who were lost and abused in the Indian Boarding School systems in the U.S. and Canada. Meanwhile, economists are trying to figure out how coal mine towns can transition to clean energy jobs, and naughty super-wealthy conservative-activist landowners in the Mountain West are trying to keep the public from accessing thousands of acres of public lands.

Hattison Rensberry has a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and Drawing, but has worked for newsrooms in various capacities since 2019.<br/>She also provides Editorial Design for the Sopris Sun.
