Art Project: Animal Masks

For this project, you will need a paper plate, paint, construction paper, glue, a wooden skewer, and any other fun materials from home that you would like to use to make your pet mask. First, cut your paper plate in half. Next, decide what kind of pet you would like to be. Paint your paper plate according to the animal that you are making. For example, if you want to be a dog, maybe you would paint it grey, brown, black, or white. If you want to be a pig, paint it pink! Next, use construction paper and items around your house to make eyes, a nose, and ears. Glue them on. Finally, attach the wooden dowel to one side of the paper plate to make a handle for your mask.
