Many organizations will regularly host artists in residence. One such position at the Grand Canyon recently had Carbondale-based artist Leah Aegerter. Some of Aegerter’s abstract portraits of landscapes are done through the use of 3D Scanning technology, sculpted wood, and manipulations of clay. KDNK’s Hattison Rensberry asked Aegerter about her artistic process and how it informed her experience when creating art at the Grand Canyon Conservancy.
