Ingrid Wussow becomes second female mayor in Glenwood history after Godes steps down

Glenwood Springs has a new mayor. Jonathan Godes surprised the public last week by announcing that he would be stepping down, and city council unanimously appointed Ingrid Wussow as his replacement just hours later at their regular meeting. Godes says he plans on focusing on his new role with the Northwest Colorado Council of Governments. KDNK checked in with the outgoing and incoming mayors to debrief after the change in the town’s leadership.
