Shamarr Allen Says The Trumpet Is My Weapon

New Orleans native and trumpeter Shamarr Allen has performed all over the world with his band the Underdawgs. In response to gang violence in his hometown, Shamarr created a nonprofit gun exhcnage program called The Trumpet Is My Weapon. KDNK's DJ Nola J spoke with Shamarr about that and about his music career.
