In Rifle, an event this evening called After the Boom, the economic aftermath of falling natural gas prices, will explore how the downturn has impacted the economy and finances of Garfield County. FEATURE: For candidates trying to woo Latino voters this election season, there’s nothing more important than immigration, right? Wrong. Poll after poll shows Latinos are more concerned about the effects of climate change than voters overall - that reducing smog and protecting water scored higher than immigration reform.
