Tipton Rolls Back Dodd-Frank in the Name of "Choice"

US House Republicans voted Thursday to scale back Dodd-Frank — the set of Wall Street regulations President Barack Obama signed into law after the 2008 financial crisis. NPR reported that the House approved the Financial Choice Act, which reduces or eliminates many of the post-crisis banking rules. KDNK’s Amy Hadden Marsh spoke with Congressman Scott Tipton, who represents Colorado’s 3rd District, ahead of Thursday’s vote about the bill that he co-sponsored.
