Today is the third day of the Grand Avenue Bridge Closure. According to reports and observations, traffic problems begin during the morning and afternoon commutes when motorists take back roads, like South Midland Avenue, to avoid the detour. CDOT and the City of Glenwood Springs want to get 700 vehicles per hour off downtown streets during peak hours. KDNK’s Amy Hadden Marsh talked to two commuters from New Castle to find out how they’re helping reach that goal.
