Cyber-Bullying On the Rise

Cyber-bullying affects about 34 percent of middle and high school students across the country, reports the Cyberbullying Research Center, almost double the number a decade ago. It’s defined as intentional and repeated harassment online or on any electronic device. In Colorado, it's a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine and up to 18 months in jail. Rifle School Resource Officer Will VanTeylingen teaches cyber safety classes and recently wrote a column about it in the Post Independent. Here he talks to KDNK's Amy Hadden Marsh about the problem.
