As of 10:20 AM, the fire has burned 8,315 acres.

The Lake Christine Fire has burned almost 7,000 acres and remains 59 percent contained. Officials from Eagle and Pikin Counties, the White River National Forest, and the Type 2 and Type 3 Incident Management Teams held a press conference Thursday, July 19, to talk about what's going on with the fire, why it grew by 500 acres in one day, and why the Type 2 team is coming back. KDNK's Amy Hadden Marsh reports.
