Wind, Heat, and Dry Timber Hinder Wildfire Containment

Widespread smoke is coming from at least two wildfires. The Cache Creek Fire, southwest of Rifle, is at 2,544 acres and 40% contained.  The Cabin Lake Fire, 5 miles from Buford, is at 3,700 acres and 35 percent contained. But, wind, heat and dry fuels have hampered containment efforts. KDNK’s Amy Hadden Marsh has this update.
