Some of the first known cases of COVID-19 in Colorado showed up in Vail and Eagle County. That means there are people who have recovered and can give blood plasma that might help critically ill patients.

The Vail Daily reports that Vitalant (VY-ta-lant), an independent blood provider, was in Vail Tuesday for one of the nation’s first mobile, convalescent plasma donor events. The Vitalant mobile lab will return tomorrow and the next two Tuesdays and Thursdays after that.
