Heavy smoke in the Roaring Fork Valley Sunday came from the Pine Gulch Fire, north of Grand Junction, which more than doubled in size over the weekend. KDNK’s Amy Hadden Marsh has an update.
Update 8/10/20, 11 AM: As of this morning, the fire is over 29,400 acres and 7% contained on south side. The blaze has crossed County Road 202 to the northeast. Residents of County Roads 204, 207, 209 and Clear Creek have been ordered to evacuate.
