Another Slide Closes GW Canyon

I-70 in Glenwood Canyon closed Thursday night due to mudslides. CDOT crews continue to assess and clean up the debris. Motorists should plan on a lengthy closure due to severe debris flows plus more rain in the forescast. The northern alternate route is recommended. Cottonwood Pass is open but muddy. Navigational apps for alternate routes are discouraged.
