This week on Express Yourself catch some improv comedy with members of Consensual Improv, performing Saturday night at TACAW, Celebrate Carbondale Clay Center's 25 years with artists Mathew Eames, Sue Kolbe and Lori Dresner from the current exhibition, Movers and Shakers and an indepth look at the Pow Wow 2022 put on by the Aspen Indigenous Foundation on April 15 and 16 with hoop dancer champion and programmer, Buffalo Child.
Carbondale and the Roaring Fork Valley are full of creative artists expressing themselves. And Carbondale Creative District is a hub of artistic activity. Express Yourself is hosted by a team of creatives from the District, reporting on all the latest artistic happenings. That team is led by Amy Kimberly and includes Brian Colley, Aly Sanguily, Kat Rich, Staci Dickerson, and KDNK staff. The show is focused on Roaring Fork events but travels beyond the valley to seek out interesting creatives and communities doing good work in the 21st century.
