KDNK's Morgan Neely brings listeners Wednesday’s news, including the Biden Administration naming a new national monument near the Grand Canyon. Also, guns may kill more birds on power lines than electricity does. And, a malfunctioning pump may have been behind a contractor's diesel spill into the Crystal River near the under-construction Riverfront Park in Carbondale. Meanwhile, the U.S. secretary of education visits Colorado, a former Colorado Supreme Court justice was censured for the first time in the state's history, and legal battles over abortion continue to simmer in Wyoming. And—surprise, surprise—preschool is still tough for parents to access in rural and resort Colorado, despite the state's new universal pre-k program.

Morgan is KDNK's News Director. He comes to KDNK with public radio passion and experience. He was a news host, reporter, and operations/programming director at KAJX-Aspen, and has extensive experience working in municipal government.
