Today on KDNK News, ballot language is finalized for Aspen voters to have their say on new lodging taxes affecting short-term rentals in November. Magic Mushrooms in Aspen? Those will have to wait until 2023 — although an initiative to decriminalize psilocybin in Colorado cleared hurdles to be on ballots statewide. Also, research shows most people care about climate change — but they mistakenly believe others don't, and that impacts critical policy decisions. And, county fair season is wrapping up in the Mountain West. We check out the Yuma County Fair on Colorado's northeast plains.
