A herd of bull elk on the move in the Roaring Fork Valley. Elk herds have seen a 30-50 percent decline in numbers in the valley over the last ten to twenty years due to a variety of factors, including human development and climate change.

Jared Polis was sworn in for his second term on Tuesday. And we hear from the founders of a new initiative that aims to protect wildlife from collisions with drivers in the Roaring Fork Valley.
