Alex Alvarado Recalls Living in Sopris Park and Finding Community as a Young Immigrant

Today Alex Alvarado works as a paralegal for a Denver law firm but twenty-two years he came to the United States from Mexico, as a toddler. He came with his parents and his five year-old brother. They joined many of the working homeless ​in the Roaring Fork Valley.
