Carbondale resident Illène Pevec, PhD, author of “Growing a Life", initiated her first award-winning school gardening program in 1998 at an elementary school in Vancouver, Canada. Since then, she has gained national and international recognition for her work.
KDNK offers a variety of public affairs programming weekday afternoons in the 4:00 hour. All are hosted by volunteers.
